Ashton Kate Sandblasting and Panting: Backyard Pools

Painting a pool correctly takes knowledge and experience. The existing coatings need to be evaluated so proper surface preparation can occur. If the previous layer is peeling, flaking, or highly smooth, it is recommended to sandblast to get a good anchor pattern for the new coat to bond to. After sandblasting, high pressure of 5000 psi will wash all dust and dirt off the surface. If any cracks or large patches on concrete/ fiberglass are missing, a high-grade patch will be applied correctly. These are a few factors we keep in mind for an estimate.

Here is an example of a couple of backyard pools that were sandblasted, cleaned, patched, and a high solids epoxy coat was applied.
